The main challenge was to create a sophisticated algorithm that could correctly interpret billing rules, determining what and how much to charge health insurance plans in each specific case. This required a deep understanding of the complexities of the healthcare sector, especially in the treatment of renal patients. Additionally, it was necessary to unify the medical records of patients from different clinics, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of information crucial for treatment and billing.
The project for Diaverum involved the development of a comprehensive solution to consolidate the operations of all its clinics, focusing on the unification of prescriptions and the optimization of the billing process. The goal was to create an intelligent system capable of interpreting the complex billing rules of health insurance plans, considering the particularities of renal patients, including those hospitalized.
